Lib power: Good for business?

Well, this is more of a question than it is a comment. Is a liberal power, or power scare good for gun business?

I just got out of class, and during my wind-down, meditation time(4 hour speech class) I got to thinking Every four years there's a big uprising in our community (the baby-slaying gun owner society: BsGOS) about nabbing those 10-rounders and as much ammo as that spam-can closet can stuff. However, not only does this drive the mental price UP on these objects, it obviously brings big business - does it not? I do not own a shop, nor have figures for that period between 1994 and the ban-lift, but my guess is that 1. A lot of backdoor trades posted big monetary gains, and 2. Gunstores had loooooads of sales. For being so understanding of how mentally-produced our economy is....aren't we the pot calling that kettle black???? I mean, is it really necessary to spend and spend on stockpiles we'll never use? Now, granted there's a difference between a stash and a stockpile.

My point is that - NO I do not like the idea of a Hussein/Biden ticket, but every person who I try to convince that Red/White/Blue are our nations colors, not Green - all say that "A gun ban will never happen." By the way, ChangeChangeChange....does 3 lefts really make a right?

So who is it that makes US panic? Ourselves? Is it the NRA that sends us these scares because they 1. Need more support, and 2. want to keep the market going? Don't get me wrong here, I support the NRA (mostly), but it seems their biggest opponent is a Brady-Campaign, not Washington DC. So while I won't be stockpiling my armor-piercing, extra-evil 9mm rounds, I will be buying myself a nice 10 rounder about 29 days prior to the election (leaving myself a day to return the stupid thing if I have to), and NO - I won't be paying 500 dollars for it. The draft of this "assault-weapon" ban, basically makes it illegal to buy - therefore it's another way of saying....get'em while you can. I can't help to think economically - but wouldn't it help those who have them to sell them privately while the margins are ultra-exploded. (If you get caught and arrested, just tell the police it was illegal to ban them in the first place )

So again, this is sort of an open topic discussion meant to provoke thought, not necessarily response. Thoughhhhtts?

While a gun ban per se may not happen (or will it?), the ammo can be heavily taxed, gun shops regulated out of business, ranges restricted to the point they cannot operate, etc., etc, etc.

If you notice, the left side hasn't said SQUAT about handguns. Any and all references to their "support" of 2A is about rifles and shotguns. THAT scares me. This is often followed by "even if I wanted to ban guns, I wouldn't have enough votes." I think that speaks volumes.

Just buy lots of guns and ammo- Support the economy. The real threat is Soros and his band of billioneer buddies that are financing all the anti gun politicions here and around the world. Since no one really knows What their reason is it makes it pretty scary. All we can do here is make sure we keep the antigunners in the U.S. keep getting shut down.
