Yeah, VCU (here in Richmond) is the only university in the state with a law in State Code that says weapons are prohibited on campus. At Virginia Tech, and I think at James Madison, there has been debate about their policies banning weapons on campus, since they are public institutions.

Maybe by the time my daughter goes to college, it will be allowed in Texas. They would also need to lower the CHL age to 18.
(as I get more gray hairs at the very thought of my daughter going off to college)

Well they got it where active military can get them at 18. Thanks TSRA. That's a step in the right direction at least.
