GA laws on 'Public Gatherings'

I am headed to GA (Gwinnett Center) for a conference.
My FL CWFL gives me reciprocity with GA.

First, I have read the applicable laws from handgunlaw.us, but I am not sure whether I can carry at the Gwinnett Center or not. (If I had to guess, it would be against the law, but I really do want to carry, and am hoping I am wrong.)

This is not an athletic or sporting event, church or church function, political rally or function. I cannot tell from the website whether or not this is a publicly owned or operated building.

Does anyone know for sure?

Second, am I legal to carry a knife (SOG Flash II) or OC spray...
A. At the Gwinnett Center?
B. Anywhere in GA?

Yes I live in Georgia north of Atlanta about 30 miles.

DO NOT carry into a public gathering....

Not allowed until they pass some 2010 legislation. It would be a major NO NO to get caught.

You can however enjoy carry all over our state pending you do not take it to a public gathering.

Man this reminds me again how bad I want them to pass this new legislation making public gathering a authorized place to carry again.

Hope this helps.
