These are absolutely incredible. I'm going to have to pick up a 1911 just so Sarge can make some grips for me!

HighVoltage - Even if you don't have a 1911 (yet) you can always stop by and enjoy the beauty of the wood. I try to post up a set per day around here. Thanks for the kind words!

They got there quick! Glad you were able to track them down.
Even more so, I'm glad you like them. Thank you so much for the endorsement. I appreciate it. Sarge |

Hello! I remember you - very nice to do business with. Don't be in too big a hurry for that weapon. A properly put together 1911 is well worth waiting for. Enjoy!

Todays set is done in curly Koa wood from Hawaii. This wood has a great depth to it and the figure really "rolls" as it's moved in the light. You can see an example of this in the pics - if you look at the left panel on the weapon and then look at the same left panel in the pic of the grips alone, you'll see it looks totally different. Holding these in your hand and tilting them from side to side is a real treat for the eyes.
Hope you enjoy them! Sarge ![]() ![]() |

Corrugata Burl is another one of those crazy cool Aussie woods. Look at the burl coverage and the wild graining down towards the bottom of the panels. Beautiful stuff!
Enjoy, Sarge ![]() ![]() |
