Check his website. I believe Sarge puts'em up pretty quickly.

Some may be available, some are sold by the time they make it here. If you see something you like, just contact me and we'll work it out. Specifically ordered grips are a lot of what I do.
Thanks!

Todays wood is horristes burl and this set shows one of the prime cuts from an entire burl. Very consistent pattern like this usually comes from the outer "center" of the burl where the curvature of the burl is even and the wood far enough from the base to have very defined pattern. Really cool stuff. Hope you enjoy it!

Today I'll show you the passing of the torch as it were, between to blocks. The first set is the last set available from the original block of Macassar Ebony, and the second set is the first set from the new block of Macassar Ebony. I got lucky and got a couple of beauties!

Pics came out a little dark. Sorry.

Todays wood is just flat out cool. Spalted Afzelia Xylay. What a mix we have here! The figure of Xylay, the great fine line spalt, AND the mix of sapwood and heartwood. I wish I could find this on a regular basis, but sets like this are few and far between. A treat for the eyes!

The beauty of nature is astonishing. We usually miss much of it though, because we're looking "BIG" instead of on a smaller and more detailed scale. I'm very happy to be able to bring some of it out for others to enjoy. I really get a kick out of it.

BTW - Your PM has been answered. Thank you!

trose49,
I appreciate the suggestion, but I try to keep the whole selling thing to a minimum in this area and just post up beauties for people to enjoy. If you want to check on a particular pair, you can always email me at elitewood@hotmail.com, PM me here, or check the site shown in my sig. Also, even if a set is sold, you can special order another set in that wood as long as I still have it. No extra charges for this, it simply means that I am making them for YOU and not to go on the site. I do it all the time.
I'm glad you enjoy the pics shown here. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me and I'll try to get them answered.
Thanks!
Sarge

Today's set is special in that I made them for a man who is putting them on his .45, which will be handed down to his son when the time comes. To be a part of a legacy like that is a true honor! They are going out today. The wood is Madrone Burl and the medallions are set INTO the grips and covered for a totally smooth surface. They came out quite well. I hope they serve in the future to help his son remember his Father with honor for his service.
