    It's true, until I got an air rifle scope for mine, I killed two cheap regular scopes [ 75-100.00 ] within 100 pellets on both. Reticles detached from view .

    The violence of the spring action and what it does to non springer scopes reflects how shooting one feels to me. My Gamo is accurate enough, but too loud for my area. I do have some very quiet 22 CB or something, but thatís a ticket to jail, where a pellet gun is not.

    I have a Crosman 1377 that I bought in the 80s is still the old standby. Iíve been tempted to go to their custom shop web site and build an optic ready 1322.
    I think I will take a chance based on the performance of my first one.
