What do you think of this. It could end up like my $800/$3,000 mountain bike, no?

Your advice could earn you a special place in my wifeís heart. Donít worry, I wonít give you up.

Lots of folks like the bull pup design but I never really warmed up to them because it puts the optics so far above the bore, making them tippy. I have not really followed the new Diana PCP line of airguns but know they are made in China for Diana. Furthermore I dislike platforms that use fill probes instead of the foster quick disconnect system. All manufacturers that use the fill probe system use their own proprietary probe there is no standardized size, and those o-rings need silicone lube and rip easily. Lose that fill probe and your out of commission until you can source another one.

Iím unsure about how good their customer support is as well as getting replacement parts should you need them. Remember itís not a matter of if but when you will need to do a tear down and re-seal. Unlike firearms airguns and specifically PCPís will need maintenance every so often. For PCPís this means a tear down and replacement of all the seals and even possibly the valve stem.

Wish I could provide you with more info on them. Now a brand that I really like and has a great reputation is Air Arms.

Update to my last post, I went to Pyramyd Airís website and read the reviews on the Laminated version as well as the ones in the link above. I would not get this gun after reading those reviews, quality is all over the map.

Here is a way better choice in my not so expert opinion, thought it seems to only be offered in .177 at the moment. Donít know if thatís a deal breaker for you or not.

It seems to me that the Marauder or

Absolutely do your research before rolling the dice with your cash. One of the biggest things about Crosman (now Velocity Outdoor) is their customer service. They are very helpful and patient, you actually talk to a real person imagine that in this day and age.
