It would be greatly appreciated if you would send up a prayer for my Daughter. She has a long and uncertain road ahead of her.

Watched "Brave" with my Daughter tonight and we talked about the last five years and the journey to where she is now.

It has been five years since the scare with her kidneys with no abnormal test results since.
It is over four years since her last grand maul seizure and few of the absence seizures that were so common that we often lost count during the day. Most days they can be counted on one hand now.

God has truly blessed us through the struggles of life. The thoughts and prayers of those here and elsewhere have given us strength and support to carry on.

    Thank you.

Back in July the Dr.'s scared us half to death with talk about possible kidney transplant and donor waiting lists in the future. Yesterday the Dr. tells us that her preliminary tests are all back in the normal range. Dr.'s are still going to follow her, but unless the other tests results they did yesterday show something out of the ordinary, we don't need to go back until next year.

I would like to thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. The past few months have been a rollercoaster.

WOW! Thank God for the miracle.
I was born with only one kidney and I developed kidney disease after many years of smoking. One thing that has helped me is that I have a heart doctor who has concentrated on keeping my kidney artery open. Good blood flow is a key factor in helping the kidney to work properly. I went from a 25 up to a 42 after my doctor cleaned out my kidney artery with a laser.
This may not have any bearing on your daughters condition but I thought that I would pass on what I know from my experience.
