I did get the shift kit in the valve body, and the high performance clutches installed though. All the sub assemblies are ready...... Just that doggone band....
Best of luck, it will get better.

IMO, for most of us, self vehicle repairs/maintenance have become unreasonable. Too much garbage and electronics involved. I decided long ago that the mechanics need to eat to, so I supplement their income rather than frustrate myself with anything beyond minor work.

I can remember being able to all but climb in under the hood and work on my '64 GTO engine. Now I can't even see the engine under all the shrouds and covers and accessories. Takes more time to get to the repair than the repair itself.

Murphy works full-time along with a couple of his minions around here. I'm surprised he's got any time left to pick on you!

On the bright side. Summer is just around the corner. That is if it doesn't get washed down river.

Mostly, Bob ? All except for that tiny little piece that was supposed to go in first ? The one that's sitting underneath that red rag on the bench ?

(I'm only kidding, of course. Mostly...)

That's not funny, especially if he finds it!

I replaced bands in a 1970 Plymouth FuryIII. Took it for a test drive without any problems.
The next day I was cleaning up the shop and found an extra part still in the shrink wrap. It is still in my tool box.

Oh, put another 100,000 miles on that car before I traded it for a Ford F100 with a 300 6 and 3 on the tree.
