God be with you, OV, and I pray your procedures will yield a great improvement in your vision.

What would happen if you put the same amount of trust in God that you do in the brakes on what your driving on the highways?

    Think about it.

Mine done 2017 about 6 weeks apart.
I was very close to canceling, as I can't have anything close to my eyes. I trusted my doc to do as he promised.
Go in and follow what the doc tells you to do, and you will be fine.
I agree that you might like to have someone special to administer the drops, although you can do them yourself.
You will be amazed at the difference!
All you have to do is lay back and enjoy the light show.

My wife had her left eye done in early June, right eye this past week.

Very little aftereffects other than much improved vision.

Her remark, "I should have done this years ago!"

Neighbor had one eye done last year and says he sees much better. His other eye still has small cataracts, but the doc told him to wait until it got worse.

Both done six years ago this spring (6 weeks apart). The procedure was painless, and within hours of the first being done I was amazed at the left eye/right eye comparison test. I told the doc he needed to do the second eye as well. He told me technically it was not far enough along that insurance would pay for it. I said I didn't care, I needed it done. He said he would ask me a series of questions then. Are you seeing blooms with lights at night? Yes. Are you having trouble reading signs with your glasses? Yes. Are colors not being seen accurately? Yes. Does this affect your ability to do your job (all day on a computer)? Yes.

He said. Congratulations. You failed the test, meaning he could justify the surgery to the insurance company. It was by far the most life changing medical procedure I ever had with immediate, positive results. Doing the outpatient procedure and the minimal inconvenience of post-op eye drops wasn't anything like I irrationally feared it would be. Unfortunately the lens he had to use did not allow me to go completely glasses free as I still use cheap cheaters to read, but I have no need for glasses beyond a few feet away.

Best wishes for you. Honestly, if I had known the lens implants would have made that big a difference, I would have had the surgery done when I was six.
