Hopefully it isn't into the lymph nodes and beyond.
Maybe you ought to consider getting a new dermatologist?

Back in 1999 or 2000 I had a spot on my left forearm that started getting ugly, it looked like I had been badly burned with a small cigar. My friends pointed it out to me and said I should get it checked out so I did. The doctor said it wasn't cancerous yet but that there was a good chance it could become cancerous. I had it removed in office that day and was stitched up. I still have the two inch scar on my arm but thankfully that thing never came back.

I sure hope for the best for you Diablo. My own brush with skin cancer was I believe called "squamous cell carcinoma". Twice a day application of an ointment called Fluorouracil for 6 weeks produced a successful result in getting rid of it. I wish yours could be that simple.

Will keep you in our prayers. I also know of someone that had that type of skin cancer and he did have surgery a lot but he was doing good for all the years I knew him and had a different women with him each time (neighbors brother) so I figured he was doing very good, he looked great all through the treatment too!

God is still in the business of Healing 💕 You will be fine please eat healthy (Gerson therapy diet is how I’d go - YouTube) and you can and will get through this!

Update: Surgery is next week. While I hope not to need it. I have a follow-up appointment set for one of the top three melanoma doctors in the country (at MD Anderson in Houston).

I may be racking up some frequent flier miles but that's a small price to pay to get the best care possible.

Sorry to hear about this. Hopefully it was caught early enough, prayers for you and your family.

Everyone else - get a skin screening by a dermatologist once a year. Get a dermatologist that will be willing to remove things at the office when you want them to.

And get a colonoscopy when you are 50. Mine very likely saved my life.
