    Bad News (Nodular Melanoma)

Got bad news today. A supposed dermatofibroma turns out to be Nodular Melanoma (the worst and most aggressive form of skin cancer).

The dermatologist didn't think anything of the growth but I demanded it be removed and biopsied. Have appointments with medical oncologist and surgeon this Friday and Monday.

Hopefully it isn't into the lymph nodes and beyond.

5 of my friends had it removed and all are OK. Glad you caught it early.
    But freaked them all out.

Everything about mine was atypical and the depth is the issue. I'm right at that depth of concern that it could be Stage III or IV.

    Prayers on the way

If it is ever your misfortune to be attacked, alertness will have given you a little warning, decisiveness will have given you a proper course to pursue, and if that course is to counterattack, carry it out with everything you've got! Be indignant. Be angry. Be aggressive.
