A long time ago, a buddy of mine in his early 20s was hospitalized for mono. One day, a buxom candystriper came into his room and asked if he wanted a sponge bath. He said no. About 2 mins later, he reconsidered and called the nurse's station, asking for that bath. Low and behold, nurse Godzilla came in to give him the sponge bath and slap him around. Sometimes you get what you ask for.

Depends on the manufacturer. Some of the older designs have grease fittings. :D

OldVet, I think you broke rule 10 1/2, hence you may be infractible under the terms and conditions set forth in the prescribed remedies for violation of Forum rules.

You did not apply for planning permission for the exchange of body parts. You see, you had all your original bits when you joined the Forum with no previously declared modifications outside normal wear and tear.

Now we have more or less (take your choice) OldVet than we bargained for. This could result in some altered state. The earth's axis could shift and the Forum could go all wacky ... simultaneously even and we can't have that!

I ain't whistlin' "Dixie;" this is serious! !!!

Sure appreciate the update and the good report. Keep up the good work.

I had surgery two years ago the last day of November. Morphine and Tramadol is what you want.

Doesn't do diddly squat toward diminishing pain, but the hallucinations are hilarious.

Let's see. I saw fox faces, racoon faces, and demon faces in the corner of my hospital room and the room's bathroom wallpaper changed to motifs of endless rows of bright green broccoli spears or endless sets of 1966 Dodge Polara tail lights. Pretty cool for what began as plain beige institutional vinyl wallpaper.

Late to the party but hope the PT is going well!

Enjoy your sense of humor, hope the lack of pain from the new knees doesn't lighten it up too much!

PT is a bear. I did not know it could make my eyes roll backwards like that. They all say I'm doing really well. I'd hate to see how doing not so well looks/feels like. Having both knees done is not twice as hard, it goes up exponentially.

Thanks to all for the prayers and wishes.

Well the one who scrubbed my back the other day would qualify as a Goodbody. Me not so much anymore.

Great googely moogely Bryan, that was a righteous buzz they put on you. Iím not sure about the demon thing but the rest sounded reasonable and not terribly upsetting. Iíd have recognized a 65 or 67, but Iím not sure of 66 Dodge tail lights (318 and 383 respectively). Never owned a 66 anything.
