I've been a little distracted the last few days.
My Grandma went into hospice care earlier this week and passed away last night.
She was 101. The things she lived through and the changes over her lifetime are truly amazing.
She lived to see SIX generations of her children. She will be missed.

If it is ever your misfortune to be attacked, alertness will have given you a little warning, decisiveness will have given you a proper course to pursue, and if that course is to counterattack, carry it out with everything you've got! Be indignant. Be angry. Be aggressive.
Me, too. FWIW it sounds like a good run. Hang in there.

Sorry for your loss. Quite a run at 101.

101. That's a significant chunk of the nation's history and more important to you a significant part of your family's history. Your acknowledgment that she will be missed indicates that she was a blessing to your family. Cherish your memories.

My Grandmother went to 95 and I remember talking to her right before she passed and she matter of fact said she was ready to go. Lived a very full life and she said "the parts are just worn out and its time". Kind of scared me as a kid but, the older I get the more I understand her now.
You and your family were blessed to have her so long. May she rest in peace.
very sorry for your loss....yup, she had a good run.
