    Retired from federal service

As of Friday January 31 I retired from 25 years as a federal police officer for the U.S. Dept. of the Army Civilian Police. When I started we were Dept. of Defense Police and the Army changed us over around 2003. I figure I'll take a couple of week off and relax then get back into the private sector. Our 14 month old 70 pound German Shepherd, Caesar will love the next 2 weeks.

Major felicitations on your retirement, BK! Since you plan on going back to work, hoping that you fit in some extra time to enjoy kicking back.

Congrats! I am a Fed employee for the past 13 years and will turn 65 this summer. I officially have 555 days until I am retirement eligible.
