I went through a very nasty child custody case with my first ex-wife. My attorney was a Harvard law school graduate, head of the local Republican party, and a very successful attorney. My ex-wife's attorney was court appointed and incompetent. My attorney made him and my ex-wife look very foolish in court. My ex-wife kept going back to court frequently and I had to pay my attorney, her attorney, and all court costs. We won every court case, but it was very expensive until her attorney was appointed to be a judge. He was milking the case for his fees.

I wouldn't be surprised if Rahm Emmanuel showed up as a character witness for the guy.

Yeah, truly crazy. I don't get how some people get away with things.
The case will continue next week I will keep you posted.
Thank you for such an overwhelming response, I really appreciate your comments.
The older I get the more I see that most things are a facade when you actually look at it. It is like Vegas, from afar it looks beautiful and amazing but only when you get with in a few feet of it, you see that its cracked pealing and not made from bricks and concrete but from foam and glue. I have noticed that it does not matter if you are talking about the justice department, insurance, politics, etc. Truly sad how it actually works. I hope things will change but it will take time. Her case is special because it hit close to our home. Hoping more publicity and awareness will give her case more attention.
We are woking on something for her. Give me a few days will fill you in more.
Those who can't teach or administrate become (career) politicians!
Or in the case of Bernie Sanders, never having worked a real job in his entire life. (Worse than old Claude Pepper!)
