    Interview with a gunfighter

I donít know if this has been posted before, but I felt it was worth sharing, and found some jewels of wisdom in his narrative as the account unfolded.

I was also struck by his humbleness.

I saw this the other day. Glad the guy survived the encounter, but if I was him, I would be selling those properties and be getting out of that neighborhood.

Saw this some years ago. Good thing he was armed.

He did good. But he should not have flashed a large amount of cash. Two wallets are sometimes a good idea. One with small amount of cash, drivers license, CC, etc. This is one you pull out, large stash of cash stays hidden in second wallet money clip, whatever.

Also he should not have opened door expecting potential tenant. He could have spoken loudly and asked who was there.

The renting homes Gentleman had a fantastic work ethic, his instincts were perfect! I worked for 5 years in Liverpool UK, as a "Doorman" =s Bouncer. And my method of "Defence" was Attack-Attack-Attack, instantly.
And I worked mostly with two like-minded men. Larry Newport now passed on ex SAS Trooper. George Downes 6'3" tall about 190 lbs? Worked on building sights, strong as a horse, huge hands. Neither one would ever back down.

It might be a good time to sell his homes and business to a Company that could take everything off his hands, one time. Move to Florida! And go on Cruises, visit any place in the world he fancied, live the good life. I am right at that point (living the good life, 84 YOA this month) just without the money!

But carry my 43X every day. With a spare magazine. The interview with Mas Ayoob with the Police Lt.
Very informative. The emphasis on one hand shooting, gun up to sights, great. Myself, I spent 40 years shooting bullseye competition, one hand! Easy Peezy. Makes sense. 6" paper plate targets? Good idea.

When I started my training Company, I ran it for 25 years, Toronto Canada. Sanctioned by the OPP. Ontario Provincial Police Force.

From my first class in 1980? I taught headshots! The last two rounds of the 20 round test, at 6ft. Metro Police, of Toronto, said if one of my students utilized a headshot? They would charge him with murder, and me the same for teaching him. A friend of mine a Sgt. with Toronto Police Service (No more Police force?) called to tell me his latest yearly Qualification, had headshots in it, that was in 2004! It took them a while.

The Chicago Police Lt. Advice for Police, at least two reloads, and a Backup, good advice! Loved his defense of the second amendment, and for all law-abiding citizens of Illinois to own and carry handguns! A bet the Mayor would love that.
