My ideal dream carry guns would be:
1. A slim sub-compact 9mm single stack, metal frame, 3" barrel, DA/SA with a spurred hammer, ambi-decocker, and a proper heel mag release.
2. A USA made copy (or permitted importation) of the Soviet PSM in 5.45x18mm with ammo options including the high penetration FMJ and a controlled expansion JHP.
I don't train to fight some street urchin, I train to fight the evil version of myself, and that person scares me, because I know the time I put into my training on how to beat him.
No. 1 Dream Gun would be a factory original Smith & Wesson New Century "Triple Lock," blue with a 4-inch barrel just like this one only chambered for .38-40 (ultra rare - they only produced very few) rather than .44 Special.
No. 2 Dream Gun would be settling for the gun above in the .44 Special chambering.
No. 3 Dream Gun would be a early Government Model .38 Super. Only slightly more attainable for me than either of the two above Smith & Wessons.

I'd like to have a good version of the .44 Automag.
I don't need anything too exotic or unobtainable. Just a stainless Commander in .38 Super would do me. And I shall have one someday, by golly.

Sure, I'm an HK man through and through BUT there is one piece that I plan on adding to my family and that is a 1911 specifically made for we "lefties" called the "SOUTHPAW" also from Cabot Gun.
