laid them all out with 10 rounds om my table and set up my timer, got of all 10 rounds with all the double stacks under 10 sec, buzzer got me on the last round with the shield with the mag change.....the.327 not so fast about 40 seconds with the reload no speed loader or strips for it just fast fumbling, had the 4 extra rounnds between the ring and pinky of my left hand. not a great showing but it didn't suck too bad

the crew; Shield, USP, 229, 40B,P07,327

    Shield

    P229

    USP 40 (best today)

    CZ 40B

CZ P07 (sucked with it today)

Rossi M327 ( slow as cold peanut butter)

If it needs to be done, do it.

I do a 16 round set, 2 mags, with my shield at about 14 seconds with 100% in the small silhouette at 10 feet. The mag change kills me. I'm at 44 seconds at 40 feet, 22 seconds at 20 feet, but the 10 foot range I fall down on the mag change because I have difficulty dropping the magazine. It hangs up on my pinky and really needs a concerted effort to drop it. I may experiment with some hot melt pinky extension next time I'm on the range and see if that helps. If so, I may need to design a 3d printer mag extension to incorporate the pinky extension into my 8 round mags.
When seconds count, help is only 18+ minutes away!

If things ever go bad, I hope you have that USP 40 with you. Nice shooting.

    That's a good test!

Watch some videos of how competition shooters help their mags drop with a shake/flip of the strong hand. Just be aware of your muzzle!

    I believe 10 feet, not 10 yards.

No offense intended, it was the second post that mentioned 10 feet. I didn't look back.

Not bad though 10 rounds is likely more then you would shoot in a typical shooting itís always nice to see how you can do under stress.
