For anyone who wants a poor man's Night Cobra, Taurus is releasing a bobbed hammer version of the 856. And to make it more they have different combinations of black carbon and stainless cylinders, and carbon steel, stainless steel, and a few colors of anodized aluminum frames. Fun fun fun.

I was sort of impressed until I saw post #8. Now that changes things completely...really disappointed.

I've been enthused that Colt brought back a double-action revolver to their catalog. Have intended to pick one up just because it'd be neato to again purchase such a revolver from Colt. I'm always pulling for Colt to forge ahead and make it out of its chronic troubles. The video was a bit of bashing, but was uninspiring too. I've dearly loved Smith & Wesson for all my life, but Smith & Wesson isn't the paragon of craftsmanship and end user satisfaction that it once was. To negatively compare the Colt product to Smith & Wesson is an apt description.

I might still get around to getting one, but "the bloom is off the rose."

While I like the Cobra it's about 2x the price of my S&W Airweight (M638). I don't believe it's 2x better than what I now have.
