The secret to more than a pocket gun for summer carry, wear a shirt.

Want to carry more than a pocket gun in the summer, wear a shirt.
I'm concealing a Glock 19 AIWB and a PM40 in weak hand pocket.
Dominant hand (right) and Glock 19 IWB facing forward.
When out in public wear shorts and a shirt, concealment aint that hard.

I wear a similar uniform and nobody knows what I'm carrying on my hip whether it's my .380 or my .45.
A .380 in your pocket is better than a .45 at home.

Well, that is true if your chest is larger than you waistline. I have a 42 inch chest and a 33 inch waist. The nine inch difference leaves a lot of tee shirt for concealment. However, if a person gets wider as his lorso lowers it can be a real problem for them.

An older photograph that camera dated to August 2012, but still have gun, holster, and broken down ol' body. I think I even still have the shirt!

For a challenge tuck that shirt in and then carry all that.

Living down here, I dress for summer carry year ‘round, and I don’t pocket carry, or carry mouseguns.

Great. Now tuck your shirt in.

Better yet, take the kids to the sprinkler or splash pad to beat the heat. Get your untucked shirt really wet. Go on.

As I have posted elsewhere, I am carrying my Hi Power most of the time these days, but if not I am carrying my 4" M29 or 3" M629.

I generally just carry what I want because I want to, not because I can’t carry something else.

Thats the beauty of not giving a double damn about opinions.

I carry what's comfortable and fits the situation. There are times I DO give a "double damn" about opinions, and feel comfortable with something concealed -- not "concealed" in a still pic posing, but walking around, moving, bending over, sitting, etc. Unobtrusive. There are times I don't give a double damn whether it's obvious or not.

One of the great things I have found with cargo shorts is that the cargo pockets are usually right over the regular pocket.and the regular pockets are deep.
That helps hide a lot. I can put a 3" revolver in the pocket or up to a Shield size gun. and in the cargo pocket a wallet or even just a flat piece of cardboard. Either covers the gun shape.

Or with an IWB holster I can carry anything I want!
Those are pretty much the old guy uniform here. DR

Get one of Nelson's Stealth IWB holsters and buy your pants or shorts a little big.
