It's pretty much 50/50 between the Hi Power I carry in uniform and the M29 I carry in civvies.

My Glock 19 Gen 3 gets more time than any. The 642 gets carried a lot too.

Yes, that was meant more as a self reflection statement than a group think statement. I should have said "I".

I've never owned a 38 Super, its odd that I haven't since I have 1911's in 10mm, Glocks in 357 Sig, kinda a sucker for niche calibers.

I should start a new thread titled: What we like to carry vs what we should carry vs what we do carry. For some lucky few its probably all the same answer? For me its not.
That would be an interesting thread, something like: "What do you have to carry most often versus what you would prefer to carry"
I spent 20 years in jobs where carry was a felony, often the best I could do running errands before/after work was a P3AT/LCP in my pocket.
For years in a thread like this I would have disappointingly said a P3AT/LCP 380 cause of work, but I carry ___ (something bigger) when I can.

If I am ever under a 10 round mag limit with no grandfathering, a Glock 30SF is likely my 1st choice.

I have owned a Glock 26 since they first came out (mid 1990's) - its ridiculously easy to shoot for the size.
Glock 26 would be a strong candidate for carry under a 10 round limit, other than a 30SF

I'm not inclined to disarm for a concert, game, (entertainment) and I ain't going on a plane or cruise.

For years and years it has been .45 acp, this is my first Super. I really wish I would have tried one long ago, they're sweet shooters. Without a doubt I will trade off & on though.

For me it's 50/50 between a .45 Shield on the hip or a Taurus clone of an S&W 638 in a pocket holster. Still a working stiff and inside the wire of my work "stalag" firearms are verboten.

    Thank you sir.

Don't wait on getting a Super like I did, you'd be missing out on a whole lotta fun!

They surely ARE sweet shooters ! Not that different from shooting 9mm from a 1911, only with more punch.

Mostly a Ruger LC9s loaded with 124 grain std pressure HST. Sometimes a Glock 19 loaded with the same ammo, and occasionally an LCP loaded with XTPs.
