I carry a 1911 about 95% of the time. I carry a Sig P938 9mm in my pocket at the gym and often as a secondary gun. My woods concealed carry is a 4" S&W 29-2 .44 magnum.

Kahr CM9 90% of the time...Have other options but always go back to it...I may switch up if i am lazy
and don't get to cleaning it right away...When i carry the others it is good motivation to get the Kahr back
    in it's place.

Until i find something i like better i will keep rolling with it....Unfortunately i may end up with a few more back up guns
before that happens....I guess that is not such a bad thing

Yes I rotate. But they are all 'pull the trigger and it goes bang' guns.

Mine too. That's why I don't carry Kahrs (or DiamondBacks).

    I don't normally change my edc , but recently I started to carry a 1911 ...

    Work: GLOCKs 27 and/or 23. Off duty: GLOCK 27, Shield .40, KLCR .357, XDS45. Bird hunting/fishing: KLCR .357. Woods bumming/big game hunting: Smith 66 4".

    Sometimes: 1911 .45 or P229 .40.

Now that I think about it, it's somewhat of a whatever my mood is thing. But it's always associated to the activity I'm doing.

I do carry 3 different guns concealed currently but, its situation driven and hopefully I am past the "mood" thing or the "gun collector" thing. Yeah, I laughed at that as well.
Currently a Pico 380 for NPE or left handed/backup option (even if its the only gun it stays in a left hand pocket for consistency) then the ever versatile 642 for AIWB or coat pocket carry in cooler months. Sometimes these 2 together. And lately the 1911 commander carried IWB @ 3:00 if I am wearing something that will hide it which is the majority of the time when not in NPE.
I am trying to have the Pico remain a constant EDC in the left hand pocket. The other 2 get switched up on occasion which in my mind is still probably not ideal.

Almost always a 1911, the only change is barrel length and caliber.

    A 9MM MAY expand to .45 but a 45ACP will never shrink to 9MM.

Personally, I carry the same pistol 90% of the time, i.e., a Sig P229. I rarely switch and only do so under one or two conditions. First, if my dress is more formal and I cannot wear an untucked shirt, I will pocket carry my Sig P938. Secondly, if I am hunting and think the conditions might be muddy or wet, I will carry my Glock 19. I don't change pistols just because today I woke up and wanted to carry something different. I'm not saying there is any right or wrong as to anyone's personal carry decision.

How about you? If you change pistols from time to time, what is your rationale?
    "Other"

I tend to carry the same thing for a few months, then decide on a whim to carry something else. On weekends, when I don't have to care so much about someone spotting it, I'll carry something larger.

I carry a Glock 26 90% of the time but when it bores me, I switch up to something different. I'm a gun guy. I like variety.

The KLCR is Ruger’s LCR, but it is about 4 ounces heavier, stainless framed (as opposed to aluminum alloy framed) and chambered in .357 Magnum, 9mm or .327 Magnum.
