Guess I better update my avatar and signature.

Because be damned if I didn't just unload everything Glock I owned. I don't know why, just got bored with them I guess.

My new SIG P365 should be delivered to my FFL today.

Now to decide if I want the P365 XL or a P320 for my "bigger" pistol.

    I'm a madman. Whatever.

Also HOWDY, HOLY CRAP I MISSED YOU GUYS! I forgot how much I liked this forum for **** posting.

Nothing wrong with a P365, or a 320, or a P229....We also went from exclusively carrying Glocks to Sigs. Nothing wrong with Glocks either, just different strokes for different folks.

I agree, I had them for nearly 10 years. But I let my "capacity to footprint" mindset prevent me from trying out so much stuff and since I was so heavily invested in the platform, I didn't give it much thought. But I held a P365 finally and fell in love and the offer for my collection of Glock goods was too good to pass up. They treated me well and it was a fun run.

Howdy @G26Raven , glad to still see a familiar face around here.

I have 3 Glock 9mm's and I love them all. But my current carry is a P365. My wife has one also. Good choice.

    Enjoy your new fling.

    But you'll be back...
Carry a sidearm always. Be able to put shots into the torso and then head, if needed. The rest is much less important.

My G26 has gotten much more safe time since I got my P365 because that Sig is just too dang easy to carry. But I don't see myself leaving Glock altogether. The G19 in winter is still the shortest platform I know of that can carry 15 rounds (grip height is what prints on me more than anything else) and I don't know of anything that packs the power of the G29 or G30 in such a small package.

Combine all that with the reliability and interchangeability of magazines...and my Glocks can be boring for sure, but they will be around for a while.

But I am getting a bug for steel....I'm eyeing an RIA in 10mm and a CZ 75 variant...

Think you will like that P365. My son just got one as his first new to him EDC that he bought with his own money.
But he doesn't want to give me back one of my 1911's I let him borrow!

Good luck !! I've tried to leave them dang ole ugly GLOCKs for 25 years now. Came close when I was on a big SIG kick myself. But I always seem to end up back with GLOCKs as main fightin' irons. Still, though, no reason I can't also love my SIGs. And none of that stuff will ever turn me from a good 1911 !!!

I haven't left my Glocks behind. I simply like my Smith and Wessons better.
