looks like I can still shoot a Glock

I haven't shot a G23 in nearly 2 years since I traded my last one for my Sig P229 , picked up this new Gen4 G23 about a hour ago, got home, pulled it out of it's case , looked and made sure the barrel was clear, loade 2 mags of some crappy 170 gr.Perfecta FMJ and walked out to my 15 yard stake, was shooting on the sight picture averaging around a second/second and a half per shot ....prettyy good for a new uncleaned gun, crappy ammo and a trigger finger tuned to Sigs and 1911s oh well say hello to my new G23

If it needs to be done, do it.

You can like Sigs and still like Glocks, too....

You sure about that? Did the Austrians ever get over that whole Sudetenland thing?

I am unfamiliar with that history. I will have to look that up.

All that, and no whining about .40, or the grip angle. Cool!

Every now and then I find myself buying a Glock. I really want to like Glocks (and I admire their reliability and versitility), but with every purchase it just reminds me of the reasons I sold the previous one. The 19x seems to get good reviews so maybe that will be my next... I'm not slamming Glocks, I think we just don't make a compatible couple.

40 is tame, .44 mag full power out of a light 3" revolver is recoil

I'm a fan of Sigs and 1911s as well...but I always reach for the Glock based on weight and capacity.
