Haven't owned a Kel-Tec since the old days (about 15 years ago) when I tried sooo hard to make a P3AT work twice. Been a little shy about them ever since. Kind of like Diamondback's little 9mm offering. Seems Florida is a hotbed for innovation in design but can't quite get the mass production down to a science. I've had no interest in little .22 handguns since I owned a little .22 that looked like a small Walther (not sure of the brand anymore, but I could shoot it pretty well).

I'll kind of keep my eyes on this one.

I'm wary of anything from Kel Tec.

Sure they have some innovative designs but that doesn't make up for their poor production issues.

On the topic of KelTec @MMinSC , do you have a Sub-2000?

I've read that the Gen 2 can have the mag catch swapped out to take P320 mags. I'm considering it to pair with my new full size.

Neat little .22 and the price is right.

If the new Kel Tec P17 works as well as my Taurus TX22 I'll have to have one.

I have been interested in the Sub2000 but after waiting so long for availability, I kinda forgot about them. The ability to use 320 mags would make me jump on one though. Thanks!

I recall reading there is 2 types of Gen 2's, one for Glock and one for Beretta mags but KelTec sells mag catches that work for the Beretta version that will take P320 magazines.

Just looking now. They do sell the 320 mag parts. Looks like I need a Sub2000 that is marked "multi-mag". I see several Glock mag versions and M&P versions.

This is the first review I have seen. Sorta review, it was still in testing.

Looks pretty cool and ships with 3 mags.

I want one as soon as it is available for MSRP. With Kel-Tec, that might be awhile if this pistol ends up being as popular as I think it will be.
