My favorite finish on a 1911. Beautiful.

You have fallen in with a group of very accomplished enablers. Welcome to the club. Very nice pistol, too.

    Enjoy!

I've got 4 Springers, all great guns. My Range Officer is a 9mm, and just and FYI, I've noticed a couple of places that are susceptible to rust in the AZ heat (think sweat). No biggle, more cosmetic than anything, but I do recommend a frequent wipe with an oily rag on the matte Parkerized surfaces including the rear sight blade.

Needed or not 1911s are nice to have. Every one should have at least 2 or 3.

The 1911 is an antiquated weapons system but then again, so am I.

It is impossible not to do "OK" when purchasing a decent 1911! Congrats.

Never, ever, put two M1911s together in the same gun safe...at least, not without first wrapping at least one of them in a plastic bag.

I picked up a used Springfield Armory 1911 Range Officer Champion in .45. Was fired but not to much and the former owner never registered it, so now its registered in my name
