Anyone carry a P238 in basketball shorts or sweatpants?

Does anyone use one of these for those light clothing days?

I want another pocket pistol and was hoping the P238 could fill this role. Does anyone use it in such attire?

There's obviously the Bodyguard and LCP but the P238 just has a coolness factor to it.

    Thanks in advance!

My son carries one and likes it very much
I quit wearing basketball shorts when they started making them go down way past my knee.

I did carry a P938 in sweat pants. The P238 and 938 are so close to the same size and weight I opted for the heavier caliber. I could carry it in the pocket of pretty much anything with pockets and a drawstring.

Yea? You didn't find it too "swingy" from the weight?

Thanks for the reply. I'm trying to get myself situated to be armed no matter the attire and currently trying to plan my next purchase around the sweatpants and basketball shorts. I have all other roles filled.

No, I didn't find it too "swingy". But I only carried it that way around the house. When I'd go out I'd switch it to an N82 Tactical IWB holster with jeans, shorts, or cargo pants.

I carried a P938 in gym shorts, but I used a PistolWear holster to carry it.

I bought a 938 just for this purpose. I was doing a lot of hiking and stuff, with regular gym/athletic shorts, but I never got used to it.

So I went back to wearing more shorts (with a belt) and just carry my regular EDC. UA has a good selection of Heat Gear stuff, and I actually like those better.

Use a belly band with the gym shorts and the P238. Works great.

Too heavy IMO. Belly band or real shorts FTW.

I don’t carry a 238 but do carry a Shield in gym attire. I use a belly band. I wouldn’t put a gun in the pocket of loose fitting shorts.

any size pistol will pull basketball shorts or sweat pants down. You need to change your attire around your gun, not the other way around. I wear casual cargo shorts with a belt to the gym and the pockets are roomie enough to carry a small howitzer. Not the weight of the gun you have to worry about, but how you are dressing while wearing the gun matters most. And if you are concerned about the .380 pistol cool factor, the Beretta 84F trumps the SIG P238 all day long.

When I carried my 938 in baggy shorts, I found the swing-y-ness to be annoying. Went with tighter shorts.

I carry my SA 911 , which is the equal size and nearly a copy of the 238 in athletic shorts . I use a utili clip on a homemade Kydex holster. I cannot stand pocket carrying any gun with loose , flapping pockets.
