    3-4.5Ē

no dinky handles, got extra fingers on that hand 🤣
Then, you want a Commander. Full grip, 4-4.25Ē barrel. Lots of options out there, from multiple makers, from budget model RIAís in the $400 range up to $3k plus Wilsons, Nighthawks, et al. Sky's the limit, there.

AlthoughóColt made a model for a while that was the 3.5Ē Officer's top end on a Commander frameóCommanding Officer's Model, I think?

The .38 Super shoots fire and he did offer it to me but not what I want nor does it fit, too big for me to conceal.

Bad Bob had it with that S&W 1911, Heís done and messed it up now I like that one the best!

    Damn you @Bad Bob . 😉

(he would have to find one I like that is over $1,000)

Sig P220 or P227 for DA/SA. If it has to be a 1911 platform, they have numerous models that meet your specs too.

    Okay weíre getting somewhere!

Sigs, CWO said the one I was shooting (the 380) and liked so much last weekend was a Sig.

No problems racking it, shot it very well too!

@svgheartland, I donít want that one. Itís too big and to me itís not the same thing, if itís a 38 then call it a 38, putting the word Super before it, itís still called a 38. I donít want a 38, I want a 45 thatís called a 45. Iím a simple person

Oddly, one thread talked about something that might seem counter-intuitive for a feeding problem and that is extractor tension. Apparently too tight an extractor can cause FTF problems. Not sure how that happens, but that's what I read.
It's caused by the clearance between the extractor and the bolt face. I found that problem with my M&P45. Sheriff's dept was supplying the ammo at a class they put on. The gun (which had been flawless) would have feed failures. It was actually the rim thickness on the cartridges that were different. Their ammo was bulk reloads from Georgia Arms of mixed head stamps. When I switched back to my own ammo (WW white box), I finished the class with no more issues.

The thicker rims would not slide up between the extractor and the bolt face.

If you want a .45, I'd start with an M&P 2.0 either a compact or a Shield, depending on how many round you need vs size.

But if you like 1911s, and want to try something completely out of left field...

You know Evil Pawn Shop II has something that you might like, it is a Sig P245 SAO,I think it has 3 6 round mags with it, it has never drawn me to it because myXXL hands hang off of it everywhere but a med/lg womans hand should fit the thing nicely, it has been in the used pistol case for over a year now with a$945 price tag on it, Luke will probably deal on it to move it, it is pristine in the big Sig plastic pistol case with all the paperwork with it.
