I am always looking, but I rarely buy. I like my carry setup, don't want to change it and just like getting better with them. That being said, I enjoy reading about, talking about and watching videos about all the different guns. That is fun for me. When I do add to the collection, it is solely things I do not need. Maybe an older classic or maybe something new, but I don't need it, just want it. I do spend money on some of my guns that I already own though. I want to do a full target upgrade to my Ruger Mark III Competition with Ultradot Matchdot II. That will take some cash. Have to do the 38 Super conversion for the Colt. Rather do the upgrades to the guns I have and like than to buy more.

I can stop anytime I want to. I just don't want to now.

It's not a problem for me. I've been able to quit several times.

Sounds like you need an AK, to go with your AR!

OP, welcome to DC. We have several excellent enablers here who will have you on the road to new guns you can't afford in short order.

I ain't really interested in anything new. But I'm always on the lookout for old Ruger, Colt, and Smith & Wesson revolvers.

Yes. We all do. I collect guns, knives, other weapons. Some I train with. Some I just like to play with at the range. It’s a hobby. Some guys collect coins. We collect guns. It’ll never end. You’ll always want something new. If it was about need you’d have an AR, a good 12ga, a 22LR rifle, a decent hunting rifle, a home defense pistol, and a compact carry pistol. Anything else is because you like guns.

Three gun bad. It takes too much time and you have to carry a lot of equipment to carry around all the time. Stick to shooting small local matchs, and shoot a rifle or shotgun side course of fire every now and again. Always keep your finger on the going price all the nice things that interest you. It is fun, builts a great data base for when the time comes, and keeps your interest going.

Uh yeah! From "my" perspective it is just you!

I don't chase the so-called, "unicorns" or the "next best thing" in the gun world. I definitely get adding to your collection. Nothing wrong with that! The more pieces the merrier. I have a few as well but, I carry all of them! They all serve a certain function.

If you look at some of my posts I too tend to accumulate all sorts of guns mainly 1911s, S&W revolvers and Colt revolvers and I do have a few Lugers and Broomhandles.

    Problem? What problem?

I don't go looking for anything in particular. When I come across something interesting, at what I feel is a deal, I'll buy it.

Three of my friends own three different gun shops in the area. I stop in regularly to visit and see what they have. I support them all.
