    I figured OD would post a pic. I didn't even bother digging out the pic of mine. Dan, do you still have yours? Just another Colt I wish I hadn't sold. She was beautiful.

    Now I'm going down memory lane. This is the little pistol that started my my 1911 style craze. The one the guns shop talked me into when I wanted a Colt defender.

    Oh yeah, I still have the 1913 USGI above, the 1940 USGI, both the WWI repros and the WWII repro.

    Yeah, that was my second Colt. I kept it nib for years. Decided to sell it and went and shot it. I do have the orginal USGI back from Papa.

    That looks like a great one! Is it a "Rogers" or "Rodgers"? I think that Bob Rodgers has stopped building pistols and now perhaps is focusing on fishing in Idaho.
