Best Holster of the Year Survey - Concealed Nation

2019 SURVEY NOW LIVE: The Best Holster in the History of Ever ? Concealed Nation

Heads up - Alien Gear directed me to it. Unfortunately, AG is not the best holster for me, I own them and several shells because they are fine and the shells are cheap but I voted for Black Arch for IWB hoslter myself. I think its an interesting set of questions.

My best, most favorite of the ones that were listed is Vedder. I note that you can list others and I didn't do that although I should have because it would have given credit to James Nelson who really does make excellent holsters.

My favorite so far is by TT Gunleather, which wasn't even on the list. I guess they limit it to mass production makers.

Nelson is not listed.Alien Gear has been a complete waste of my money as has Stealthgear USA.

If I can’t have a Nelson, Black Arch is the way to go for me.

I was fortunate, a fellow on the Walther forum was getting rid of his PPS rig and I got his Black Arch IWB for $30 shipped. Best money on a holster I ever spent and made me a customer of them new because it is the best hybrid holster I've ever used.

How did they include Mitch Rosen but leave Milt Sparks Leather off that list? No slam meant toward Rosen. I have used Rosen, Sparks and Kramer holsters for years.

But to omit Sparks is like leaving Baer or Brown off a best 1911 list.

I still like Vedder. They work for me, aren't too costly, and are comfortable to me.
So who is this Will that everybody fires at, what did he do, and how come he's not dead yet??

A lot of brands are not listed. For example, JM Custom Kydex makes some of the most popular AIWB holsters.

There are a lot of brands not listed. I imagine that is why they have a place to write a brand in. I had to write in a couple.

My top holsters since the mid 80s when I started carrying daily:
    1. Kramer Horsehide OWB belt scabbard (started using this holster in the early 90s when Greg started his business, to include a period of time doing plain clothes work)
    2. Sparks SSII
    3. Comp Tac CTAC (also like the MTAC, but prefer the CTAC)

lots of other good holsters, but these are my top ones; with the Kramer holster being #1 - every EDC gun that I have ever carried has ridden in one

For me it’s all about the backing. Nelson Stealth.
That is also a big part of why I like BlackArch.

I couldn't get past page three. "Other" isn't an option for the most comfortable holster I've ever worn.

I had to write A Holster in quite a few times. Interesting survey.

If you're a pocket kydex holster user, you'll want to check them out. Especially for Airweights.

I never paid attention to results of some survey and consider crossbreedd a low point of CC holsters . I tried a couple holsters on the last but they went away after a couple weeks tryout . I don't use any holster on the list !
