Well, that could have been bad, depending on whether the owner had the "voluntary upgrade." But, I was referring to Old Man's lust for a P225.

After about age 75, bathrooms take on a whole new significance.

As my doctor told me, as I passed that milestone (and it wasn't the only stone that I passed): "You must never pass-up a bathroom, and never trust a fart."
They were words of wisdom to live by...and words with which to avoid embarrassment, too.

But there are better solutions than shoulder holsters, especially if you wear suspenders (braces).
I guess then I have three more years of relative peace and security.
Now, I like suspenders for anything heavier than my Bulldog but they are a pain when you have to go.
Maybe I should start shopping for some shoulder holsters.

Now that's called a surprise. Would not want that surprise anywhere, especially out in public.

It's funny. As we get older a whole new set of priorities tend to manifest themselves in our lives. Bathrooms, rest stops, bending over and squeezing the bladder, breaking wind when you least expect it, and a host of other little anomalies become our constant, though bothersome, companions. Things we may have heard our grandparents talk about when we were young but didn't pay much attention to back then. Now, they have become little pesky cling-ons that ain't going away.

    Oh the joys of aging.

All the theaters around here are GFZ. I can't remember the last theater movie I attended.

My main carries are vests or shoulder holster. One of my vest holsters got a bit loose (leather/kydex hybrid) so I had to add a kydex backer to it to keep it tight. My Shield dropped out of it twice. Never a problem since that.

There is a large (14 screen) theater two miles from my home that I go to from time to time. Since this is a major nationally operated theater corporation, I suspect it may be a so-called GFZ but I have never seen a sign and I am not about to go looking for one if it is not posted within my immediate surrounds. So I go armed.

I am baffled how some think they can carry a gun unsecured. Was it in a coat pocket? And yes, very glad he didnít pick it up by the trigger.
It could have been in his coat pocket, but I thought he placed it back IWB. Maybe he didn't have a holster and it was just stuck in his waist band.

There is only one theater in our town, not counting an artsy one that has about twenty seats. The main theater isn't posted and I've never been to the other one.

I could have swapped him the Glock G43 I was carrying! That would be a fair trade, wouldn't it? Haha! Yes, I am on the lookout for a P225. Its one of the pistols that I have been looking for now on the LGS shelves for a couple of years. Maybe I need to expand my search radius.
