    M&P 2.0 Compact Holster Options

Iím looking for recommendations for holsters for my new M&P 2.0 Compact, can be IWB or OWB. Currently, Iím carrying a P365 in a Vedder LightTuck appendix and itís phenomenal, especially for summer carry in lightweight shorts.

But I got the M&P for another carry option mainly for seasons other than summer. Iím fairly certain I do NOT want to carry the M&P appendix since I already have the P365 setup that way and love it. So Iím thinking something strong-side carry, like 4 oíclock. Iím not opposed to leather either. I donít really want anything with a spare mag holder. I just donít personally see the need. Anyone have any suggestions? Iím kind of overwhelmed with options. I have a Kore X5 belt.

Iíve never tried a Crossbreed setup. Iíve never tried a paddle holster. Iíve never tried a thumb break holster.

I used a Stealth gear ventcore iwb hybrid style holster for my m&p 2.0 4" 9mm. It really was a great setup. Price was around $100 if I remember right. It was well worth the money to me.

I use 2 leather holsters. Both are Galco. A summer comfort for iwb, and a Fletch high ride for owb. I also have a kydex holster I use for it with the model number QB-2, dont know who makes it, but it makes it easy to disarm for those wonderful trips to the VA, work, or any other NPE. It also will work as a competition holster.

If you like appendix carry so much why change to strong side carry?

Also you forgot to mention what size compact you have, is it 3.6" or 4"?

I carry my M&P M2.0 Compact in a Black Arch Holster IWB. One of my favorite holsters.

You could use the LightTuck to carry strong side especially if you like it. Or Tier 1 Concealed makes the Echo or Xiphos which are great choices also.

I appendix carry my M&P Compact 9mm with 4 inch barrel in a High Noon Mr Softy and love it. To me it's very comfortable even while sitting. I prefer leather and for $30 figured it was worth a try. Glad I did.

I realize that comfort in a holster is largely dependent on your body type, but for a small skinny guy this one works for me.

I have and highly recommend NSR tactical for kydex IWB....leather IWB from Sam Andrews...OWB kydex from Bravo Concealment.

There are lots of other great options, but these are my go to holsters.

I use a Stealthgear Vent core Mini. Caught it on sale for $65. I have another one that I carry my Shield with. They are the most comfortable and slimmest holsters I have tried.

I appendix carry my 2.0 Compact in a Dark Star Gear Orion holster. It's quite comfortable, especially with the foam wedge. I also use Dark Star's magazine carrier which is fantastic.
