Guns are only as safe as the person handling it. That nimrod ain't safe. The purpose of a gun safety course is to teach people to safely handle firearms. Hopefully he learned something.

He keeps his finger off the trigger until he cocks it! With 4+ million views I have a feeling his instructor career may be coming to a premature end.

Like Kennfd said, the guy was swinging that thing around causing students to move rather quickly out of the way.

Who demonstrates grip to others with a loaded gun. Wow. There are a number of fails in this one.

I did a frame-by-frame and see it smacking him and snapping his back a good six inches.

Would have immediately walked out of the class, and demanded a refund.

Truly an excellent teaching moment! At least his students will ALWAYS remember his lesson on safely handling a gun.

Very effective instructor. STUPID but effective. Oh, and drop the instructor credentials at the door. Only get to be that effective once.

We have a guy here who makes a living teaching classes around and it seems one of his "instructors" has an AD in almost every classroom. When I went to the class put on by the state so I could administer the CCW class we had a yahoo that was an obvious novice, not young, just a novice show up with a Kimber Ultra carry. He was shooting beside me, the lead instructor had us shooting at the dot target (1" dots) @ 3 yards. When he got to Kimber boy who had 3 out of 16 holes randomly in the paper he asked "Where did the other shots go?" the response was priceless.... "I have no idea".........

I was really hoping he got smacked in the forehead when it snapped back. Alas, he did not.

I'm not saying we should kill all the stupid people. I'm saying remove all the warning labels and let the problem sort itself out.

While you can't see it from the angle of the video ... I suspect there was a small brown spot in the back of those beige shorts
