here are a few of my fixed blade knives.

I recently saw the Ladies from Battle Horse Knives(formerly Blind Horse Knives) at a local gun/knife show. They make some very nice blades and have excellent Kydex sheaths as well. I don't own any of their knives...yet.

Shadow Tech Knives is another local favorite of mine and there are a couple of their knives in my pics.

How do you like the Tops Firestrike?

I have one on order that I'm anxiously awaiting.

Needs a better sheath, the one it comes with is embarrassing.

Which one is the firestrike? I really like Tops designs in theory, I've owned a Scalpel, and the Baghdad Bullet, both are awesome and reasonably priced, but neither were nor could I ever get them sharp, I mean sharp now! You would think a blade called the Scalpel would be razor sharp, but I wasn't impressed. It was great size wise, nice sheath, and for stabbing or puncturing purposes, but I sold it to fund other firearm projects.

I haven't had it long enough to tell for sure but I love the ergonomics and the blade design. It's respectably sharp out of the box but not hair popping. The one thing about it that I would change(and will) is that the blade coating makes it impossible to use a ferro rod. I do realize that it was originally designed as a fighter and not a survival blade but it really is a good all purpose medium sized knife. I'll just remove an inch or so of the coating from the spine and treat it with EexOx.

The TOPS Sheath is actually pretty decent. It has a good bit of extra material that can be cut away and I'm not the biggest fan of the metal clip they used but it is functional and better than most of the crappy sheaths put out buy some of the popular production knife makers. I just modified mine and added the ferro rod carrier.

Opposet ends of my fixed blade options. One is a Joe Keeslar custom, commissioned for me by my wife as this year's Christmas gift. I want EVERYone to see that one. The second is a Topps Cali Cobra modified and refinished as a karambit. That's the one I want NO one to see, until it's too...late!
