Fun at over a quarter of a mile...

While I haven't been posting much, that's mainly because i've been so busy. I have a new reloading press, a Redding T7 and I really like it. I'm priming cases by hand now and velocities are more consistent, not because of hand priming necessarily, and accuracy is pretty much where I want it. But enough about reloading. Here's a video I made shooting fun stuff at 500 yards, and some paper stuff as well - but the dingers is what is fun...

The ammo is factory IMI 77 gr, the gun is an AR build with a 12.5" BSF carbon fiber barrel, a Liberty Triumph suppressor, a Geissele National Match 2 stage trigger I tuned to a 2 lb break, and a Vortex Viper PST Gen II 5-25x scope....This is just fuuuun!

We don't have a gun problem in the US, We have a people problem.
The problem we have is people that want to kill large numbers innocent people
    in Gun Free Zones.

    That does look like fun!

I rarely shoot over 300 yards. Have enjoyed it every time I have though.
Would like to do a 1000 yard shoot again, but maybe with a modern rifle this time instead of a Sharps.

Glad to see you enjoying yourself there, Tangle. I always liked the dingers with my .45 at 100 yards. Don't know if I could even hit it anymore; old and shaky!
So who is this Will that everybody fires at, what did he do, and how come he's not dead yet??

    Good shooting! I am impressed!
