    Soldiers learned to load the tube while on horseback and riding...not that difficult to master if you really need to load the rifle.

    I see a Henry in my future. I'm OK with the 30-30, but the polished brass is a showstopper for me.

    Not me. Watching Hell On Wheels from AMC really got me digging the brass receivers. That show featured weapons quite prominently and there were those rifles all lover.

    I could be wrong, but I believe the brass on the Henry rifle is anodized, and will not tarnish or patina. Thatís good and bad.

    Well, it's only a matter then of whether the receiver is steel or aluminum or hardened brass. Oxidation is unavoidable with metals and merely matters of degree.
    There is a solution but we are not Jedi... not yet.

    I want one in .41 mag...Iíve been looking at one of their regular models, but if they put out a gate loading .41...Iíll buy it in a heartbeat.
