Im real partial to the Smith 19 6 357. Just got to figure how to carry it, not short people friendly. I cross carry, maybe it just needs a good holster.

Once there was a time, I could only have one handgun for financial reasons. I started out this way. First, I bought a Taurus PT940 for $299, after a while I saved some more and traded the Taurus to Cheaper than Dirt to get my Glock 27, I saved for a year, and sold the Glock, that plus my savings I was buying either a Kimber Ultra, or a Colt Defender. I wanted the Colt Defender, but the Gun store commando talked me into the Kimber ( I didn't know much back then). I was happy and liked the Kimber until I joined a certain M1911 forum and learned I should have bought the Colt. So, I sold the Kimber and bought my first Colt, a commander.

My CZ 75 compact is pretty much my favorite gun to carry and shoot. But I don't know if I could live without a .45.
So, Dan Wesson CCO? Is that 2 guns?

I like the M&P .45 2.0 Shield that I bought it again. It is the only gun I own of which I have purchased two identical copies.

Mike, you gotta stop this immediately. Heheh. I've been back to the LGS 3 times looking at one. It would go with my M&P 9mm Shield 2.0, my favorite so far.

How does the 9mm 2.0 perform at distance? I ask because my first model 9mm Shield is putting them in the dirt with no holdover past about twenty yards.

Mike, I practice mostly at 5-15 yards, but go out to 20 yards OK (could be better, but that's my fault, I'm afraid). I haven't practiced much at all beyond 20 yards.

I'd have the Kimber K6s and already do. Three different loads to shoot, plenty of power, and can be carried any which way the heart desires. Front pocket, back pocket, IWB, OWB, pelvis carry. and maybe ankle which I haven't tried. And a couple of speed loaders just in case.

Then I'd do something part time to earn enough money to buy another one. Just glad I don't have to work and might buy a second one just because Mike1956 has doubles of his .45 and it sounds like a good idea. I'd probably forget about the speed loaders.
