How do I keep from getting spammed by this site?

Since the northern invasion, I've decided to spend way less time here. No big deal, until recently when I've started receiving spam e-mails from this site. I know this site was bought with the intention of being a money maker, but could someone be so kind as to point out how I stop these spam e-mails?

I tried the unsubscribe option at the bottom of the e-mail this morning. Let's see how that goes.

My ISP has a really good spam eater. Almost none get through. I clean about 500 a week out of there.

I unsubscribed from this unwanted DCF commercial email. Any more and I may be compelled to close my membership.

Yeah but they are kept on the ISP site which will hold 100,000 spam emails before yo have to clean it out. So, I never see them unless I go look.

Yup, I've had two in the last two days. I guess I know that my email address was sold. We'll see how the unsubscribe button works!

I've received two myself, and I'm unclear why this sites owners have decided to either spam my email or sell it to someone else to spam me. I'm not sure what to think of the motive behind this blatant invasive spamming. I don't think it's increasing membership, more likely decreasing it further.

I also tried the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email.

I had a screen pop up that said I have just discontinued Defensivecarry.com, but I am apparently still here, for now.

All I intended was to opt out of the spam.

I guess the future will tell.

At the bottom of the email, there is always a link to unsubscribe.

True, but the point is that our e-mail addresses were sold to advertisers in the first place.

This might just be the beginning. How many more companies have them now? It's irritating, to say the least.

I shouldn't have to unsubscribe from something that I never subscribed to in the first place.
