C&R, made in 1899, missed the antique cutoff by a year (or less). Just a common rifle, I'm working on slowly filling in the holes of my US military rifle collection.
This is my first Krag. I've heard Krags had bolts that were 'smooth as glass' But I've heard that about dozens of guns. THIS really is the smoothest bolt I've ever cycled.
And yes, I did find some 30-40 from Hornady. I was considering making it like I do for some of my other hard to find cartridges, but I'll not shoot it enough in 20 years to make it worth the time fiddling with the dies.
This is one of those guns that'll come out during a 4th of July shoot, then go back into the safe for another year.

But yeah that bolt is amazing ..I was stun as well on the first I tried why I guess the gun to this day is still used as a hunting rifle here and eleswhere ..

    Serious OCRAS Attack!

Haven't got my hands on it yet, but I've closed the deal on yet another old Colt:

This one's a 1964-Vintage (2nd Issue) Detective Special. It's a pretty rare bird, having the 3" barrel and nickel finish.
It's in pretty much mint (although not unfired) condition. Needless to say, this one won't be an EDC - but it won't be a complete Safe Queen, either!

Got the sidesaddle for the Shockwave and it still fits in the scabbard.
Eleven rounds of 00 buck should be enough to discourage most perps.

The ones who won't be discouraged will probably turn out to be zombies. For them, you're gonna need your G19, of course.

I got a Crimson Trace Green Laserguard for Sig Sauer P238/P938 w/Holster, LG492GHBT — Green beam for my Sig P938. I got it to help my dry firing trigger control. I have been practicing all day at home. It is helpful to steady my dry firing, just like the ads say.

The laser is small, very easy to install and adjust. I thought pressing the button to turn on the laser when shooting would be uncomfortable. But I don't even feel the button. I grip the gun and laser turns on. I like it alot.

Mosin Nagant. Got it at the LGS, along with 60 rnds of ammo, for $200. Couldn't resist. Nothing fancy, just for range fun.

Looks like a Gen 3 G21 is coming my way. w 4 factory mags, Inforce rail light, and holster, with the trigger guard mod and several boxes of ammo. I've fired this 21 at the range many times and have told my friend many times if he ever decides to let it go please give me first refusal. Now, he's liquidating a bunch of things, doesn't need the money but just wants to simplify, and offered the G21 with all the related gear for $400. I said, "put my name on it!"
