Turns out the deal went South. One of his co workers offered him $550 for it. I told him to sell it & take the better offer.

Sorry to hear that. Offered him $550 after your friend already sold it to YOU (verbal agreement) ?

    Well, it happens...

    Newest Oldest DW!

Already posted elsewhere, in an old DW thread, but I picked up this ol' Dan Wesson Model D-11 at the gun show yesterday:

It was DW's very first production .357 model, and at about 48 years old, it's in nearly pristine condition! I couldn't walk away!

Ordered this Friday night, received it this morning. I like it so well, I will probably order a couple more:

I don't mind. He was selling because he needed to raise some money so more money on the sale is good. And I don't really need another .45 auto, I'm very content with my old P220 and Kimber.

The LGS owner made me an offer I couldn't refuse on a 20" Mossberg 500 eight shot 12 gauge pump shotgun today.

Gifts from my friends on the force. They thought I could use a little more security in my Wrangler soft top.

Pro-Gard and Setina. Now I just need to find a location in my Jeep and get them secured. I need to get a handcuff key for the Pro-gards and an override key from the local Setina dealer. The electric releases function perfectly.

It's been months since we talked about them and I was surprised last week when the Lt brought them by.

Picked up an 1892 Winchester (current production) in 45 Colt. Been wanting one for a long time. Wow, what a slick action and great handling.

I got a sidesaddle shell holder and a different laser mount (now that more are available) for my Shockwave and mounted them up.
Those sidesaddles have come a long way from the kind I previously had.

Not sure if a Colt Match .22 is in my future or not... I saw one Saturday when I was buying my hunting license at a shop I hadn't been to in so long they had moved across the street! lol
I might have to go back there tomorrow and have them pull it out of the case. The price seemed too good to be true after looking them up when I got home.
I really don't need another long barreled .22 though...

Just got in a couple of KAK 7.62x39 AR BCGs.
I had my extractor fail at about 3k rds.
So I ordered KAK's BCG because it comes with a machined steel extractor.
Now I have one for replacement and one for back up.

    I'm really into this thing.
With my Bushnell 1-4, a 10.5" bbl and wolf performance steel case it easily knocks 10" steel at over 400yds
And the old man said, "We'll see..."
