I have one of these that I set up for open class when shooting three again matches. They are awesome after you break him in a little bit. I will give you a small tip, back the castle nut out one or two turns and it will work way more reliably. I run a holosun red dot on mine and it is incredible.

    Sweet!

I have been eyeing those since they were released. Can't wait for the range report. IIRC, it will be the first report here. Congrats!

Thanks for the input. I'm looking forward to getting it to the range. I've got a Vortex Strikefire that has been looking for a home. I ordered a 20 rd drum mag (just for __its and grins) that should be here first of the week. Between this, the Shockwave and a Winchester 1400 I might make a dent in the 1600 rounds that have accumulated.

I may not be able to move my shoulder when I'm done but, it should be a good time.

The extended safety I ordered from C&S for my BHP came in today. It did came with excellent directions for fitting but just to be safe I will take it to the gun smith to have it fitted.

Today the 20 round Pro Mag drum for the VR80 got here along with a couple more mags for the M&P9c and a 400 round jar of "Christmas" 22lr.

Loaded up the drum and was surprised that, although it adds considerable weight to the gun, it doesn't seem to affect the overall balance. It still swings and points really well. I'm looking forward to seeing how it reacts under recoil transitioning targets.

The "Christmas" ammo (red& green poly coated CCI) goes with the 10/22 that I'm gifting to my friend's son.
