I found a case of that I'd forgotten under my loading bench. Been there for a couple years.

Not exactly firearms related but I did find $800 in a jacket I had not worn in over a year. I will put it to good firearms related equipment purchases!

Yah, was a good find. Only eclipsed by a six figure check I forgot to cash for something like 200 days. Thankfully I was able to get the check reissued!

I live a little closer to the bone. Not much fat in my budget now in retirement. If I found $800 in one of my coats, I would think I was being set up. Glad for you @ColoradoDiablo .

I hate to admit it but, I actually came home from the pawn shop with a 9mm polymer striker fired pistol. I have not been a huge fan of polymer strikers but, this gun had features I really liked and its a gun I never knew existed.
Walther PPS, the original with the paddle mag release and the striker indicator which allows me to thumb the slide while holstering with some trigger feed back like a hammer gun.
Less than an inch wide and really nice for IWB. I like the 8 round mags so ordered a few more since they don't seem to make them anymore.
Seems any gun I really like is discontinued just like trucks, clothes, etc. Ugh!
Came in original box with all the paperwork, 7 and 8 round mags, Talon grip,Vedder holster, XS standard dot night sights and the original sights. $258.96 out the door. Holster wear from the Kydex but, seems well taken care of otherwise.

I had sold all my 9mm handguns but, still had several thousand rounds so was looking for another some day. I really did not want any more double stacks as I just find then too "clunky" for EDC. I am good with 8+1.
I will do some shakedown range time and report back my impressions.

    Lee 6 cavity mold

Been using a 2 cavity mold for years and finally got around to ordering a 6 cavity mold last week, wow what a difference in production!! 450 bullets an hour was about average for me with the 2 cavity first run with the 6 cavity and I made an easy 1000 bullets. Figure once I have my technique down with the new mold I should average a good
1200-1300 bullets per hour. Why did I wait so long?!?!

Sent the Beretta USA branded holsters back to Beretta. The kydex model was so loose it was absolutely ridiculous. I've never seen a kydex holster with zero retention before in my life, but now I have. The leather Beretta model was made by some company in the Balkans and was Tagua level leather for Milt Sparks level money. So, I ordered (and received yesterday) a IWB Holsters Tactical Hybrid Full Kydex Shell Ultra Flex Concealed Concept holster for the Px4. I like its taco approach to the kydex for the weapon and that it is a 2-clip IWB hybrid. Most taco models are one clip and they tend to tilt and shift too much for my comfort. So far, I like this one.

A Glock 44 followed me home today. It's a great little firearm. Range report coming soon.

Picked up a Vortex Diamondback Tactical 6-24X50 MOA FFP scope for my Ruger RP rimfire . Ready to test it out when the snow stops.

Yes the scope clears 3.5 mm. 30mm rail on it the 65 MOA travel may come in handy.

Yes Taurus really does suck. But in fairness they sure turned it around fast on warranty repair. Time will tell
