    Latest lever gun...

I recently found this new/old stock Winchester 94 AE for $375...I could not pass it up. Now, understand, the last thing that I needed was another lever action...but since when is "need" a qualifier for buying another lever gun? Anyway, I brought that baby home, promptly ordered a Williams FP receiver sight, got it on and set, got it setup to accept the sling...it is ready to go. I am gonna take it with me again in a few minutes when I go to check the hog feeders out at the hunting land. My first hunting rifle was a 94...although I much prefer the 92 and 94 rifles, I have all flavors of lever guns...I am a sucker for any of them.

Kind of difficult not to like 'lever guns'.

    Nice!
For me, an old Dude, if you are into hunting, long guns, you just need a lever.

Lever guns do something to me I can't explain. I have a 94 AE in .45 colt, its a surprisingly good shooter.

It will be...even if I just look at and fondle it. This makes number 6 for us. I spread the time around among them..and I use bolt actions and hunt with handguns...so, none of them, individually, gets used a lot.

I understand...they do something to me, too. I cast bullets, so that is another reason that I like them so much as most levers will shoot cast bullets very well.

That is what I say every time I get another one..."I NEED this"...

There was a Model 94 Trapper in 32 Special on GB that ended a couple of hours ago...it was a nice rifle and the price was right. I had save the auction and was going to buy it at the end because the price was right...just thought better of it after having just bought this one the other day...but I sure hated to let that guy buy it for that price, he got a good deal.

M rifle likes the Lyman 454190 and unique powder. The Keith bullet is also good
