Alright people it is this forums fault. I would have NEVER even thought about buying a 38 Super 1911 until I came here. And now I went and ordered one. I have never had one and I have never had a RIA. So I went and ordered a RIA 38 Super. You people …...
Well, don't blame me!

I accept full responsibility. Since you are clearly having remorse...the only thing left to do is to transfer the offending firearm to me.

El Al had an attack in Rome Airport a while ago, as Mil-Spec calibres are not allowed, only for LE. The on-duty guards were carrying .380 Berretas. A few Muslim women were in reality Teen men! carrying folded stock AK 47s. All hidden by their Burkas faces were covered also.
One Israeli ran out of ammo, beat the terrorist to death with his empty pistol!
I was at a loss as to why they did not choose the .38 Super? More accurate, more punch than even the .45 ACP? Very accurate.
The Police were looking for the on Duty Security Officers, to interview! They left on the El Al flight that was at the gate!
It could be worse... someone could have talked you into a Glock.
TimGunn I'm glad that you are able to express your feelings. That is the very first step in therapy. However, don't you think that you are old enough to start accepting responsibility for your own actions? I mean, blaming the forum for your personal decisions is like blaming the pencil for a misspelled word. Even if your pencil had autocorrect, you are still responsible for your own actions. If you get away with blaming the forum, soon the anti-gunners will blame the forum as well. That is a violation of forum rules and that is not allowed. Clearly, you have not reached maturity yet.
Therefore, your treatment plan is simple. Ship your 38 Super 1911 to me. I will train it, feed it lots of quality ammo, break-in a leather holster or two, teach it to be a good gun. When you have grown up and can accept responsibility, I will return your weapon.
I'll PM you my address. I don't want to post it here because @OldVet might send me one of his Christmas cards or his fruitcakes.
Annoy a Liberal!! Get a job and think for yourself!
You've only been here four days and we already have you buying guns?!?
I'd say our work here is done.
Congrats on the new pistol!

If you think this forum is a bad influence, you don't even want to think about visiting 1911Forum or 1911Addicts (and for God's sake, absolutely don't look at the classified ads on 1911Addicts!) You're welcome.

Those are my principles, and if you don't like them.....well, I have others.
