Went shooting for the first time in months and came so close...

Went to the local range and finally spent a morning doing some regular pistol drills with my Glock G19 and full size XD .45. Considering all the family stuff is was nice just to get out and burn through some ammo. My mistake was fondling some nice new 9mm compact 1911 mag style pistols like the STI. I'm supposed to retire my truck next year as my wife would like to see me get new wheels after 17 years. It was so tempting to not bring home a new pistol. I report to a higher power, my wife.

At least you made it to the range. Sometimes other things get in the way. I have the same problem. It sounds like you made it a productive trip, and that's the most important part.

    Me too.

And since she got her cataracts removed, I have to be a lot more careful.

So you eyes and hands have found a handgun of you dreams. Stick a picture on the wall and start saving. Dreams do come true. Just not over night.

Yes Taurus really does suck. But in fairness they sure turned it around fast on warranty repair. Time will tell
