Nothin spectacular because I don't own any spectacular firearms. I shot two different CPX2's and two different Heritage .22's. The first shots were from my CPX 2 alongside my wife with her lime CPX2.

Glock 17 MOS followed by S&W 642 followed by a Sig P 365 (to recover my confidence after shooting the snubbie).

Winter carry, the G29 and I went to the range yesterday and I put 50 rounds down the pipe.

First shots of 2020 were through my first gun purchase of the year, a new Blue Label Glock 21 Gen 4 with fresh Trijicon HD's. I had the outdoor range all to myself first thing in the morning Friday, it was a blast.

Well, first shot fired was from a Remington Model 510 .22 rifle. Some squirrels were in a tree some way behind my son and I while we were sitting in the duck blind. Was a bit of a Hail Mary shot and was a miss. Duck hunting was a bust. I could see as many ducks along our shore in July as we did this weekend. They're not in the region for some reason. This ought to be the good time for hunting.

    I enjoyed my Springfield Armory
10mm TRP. Wow. It packs a punch. Love it. Well built and I have the 6 inch so the recoil was controllable After 50 plus rounds your arms and hands start to feel it.

    I believe it was a .22 Korth, followed by a Glock 19, S&W K-22, S&W M65 and a Ruger MkII. Got my range bag ready with a Hammerli 212 and a G17 for later.

This one is almost always going to the range with me.

... but today it is this one:

Seemed like 2020 would be a good year to start out with the ol' Dan Wesson M44:

Ran 12 rounds through it at 15 yards offhand (but single action). Not sure where I got the 210 gr. Remington SJHP's. Grabbed them out of the ammo cabinet and it occurred to me that they must be pretty old. I don't recall seeing 210 gr. .44 Mag anywhere in years! In any case, they're a STOUT load, even through the ported 8" barrel. Felt recoil seems a little more than even your typical 240 gr. SJHP's.

    Happy New Year!
Wow, you sure did start off the year right! If you ask me though, it would be more fun to do that at the stroke of midnight on New Years Day as I did with a pineapple, although I wasn't shooting a Dan Wesson M44.

Well than it doesn't count. It was 2019 not 2020 when you were shooting at the range, for it to count it has to be 2020.

Thank you for eliminating a coyote. I hate coyotes, they go after people's pets and in some cases children.
