    First Gun Fired in 2020

So what was the first gun you all fired in 2020? For me it was a Ruger Vaquero in .45 Long Colt that I fired just as the ball dropped and 2020 started.

It'll be my new NAA Pug, once the load of 22 magnum I ordered shows up.

1st gun was a new to me Glock 31.
2nd gun was a new to me Glock 31.

Since everyone is switching to 9mm projectiles I figured I better as well.

I am going to a fundraiser for my extremely pro-gun senator, Amanda Chase, tomorrow. The event is called "Shoot and Eat with Amanda." We are taking over a local range, where we will shoot and have lunch. I will figure out tomorrow what the first gun I shoot in 2020 will be. I haven't decided.

My friends and I had a small New Year's Eve party at the local indoor range. I suppose that doesn't count though.

Hopefully it will be a 12 gauge Remington Model 11 fired at a duck in the morning.

Ha! I never thought about this till I saw this thread, and dang if I didn’t just get home from work, put on my ear pro, and launch a 230 at a salt block from my car.

So, it looks like my first shot fired this year, was from the Colt LW Commander. Come to think of it, it was the last gun fired in 2019!

I went to the range yesterday to see if the upgrades I did to my Ruger Security 9 helped. They did. I also shot my M&P Compact 9 for comparison purposes but I shot the Ruger first.
