    When loading gates find it into the rest of the lineup, I will buy a Henry.
    I want an all 16” weather 357 with loading gate.

    I hear ya...I want the 30-30 that way but with the black receiver and they only have it with the loading gate in brass

    I think it looks pretty cool. The Mossberg wasn't a bad idea and I think it was just the AR15 style stock that turned me off. The rest of it was pretty practical- attachment points, black, etc.
    It takes a Viking to raze a village.

    I bought the 1894 Marlin in 44 mag (last week) which was a week before these came out. Well nuts. Ok, I’ll play it out and see. Now Henry has to come up with decent irons and they’ll sweep the field.

    Have you shot it yet? I was reading a review on the fancy 1894 SBL, and the author talked about the side ejection allowed them to design a loading carrier that was not sensitive to cartridge length.
